We began in 1929 with an assignment from the Swedish Parliament to renew the Swedish merchant fleet by providing good financing. To date, we have financed almost 1,000 vessels and currently have around 130 vessels financed across all maritime sectors.
Our Board
The Government appoints Svenska Skeppshypotek’s Board of Directors and auditors on an annual basis, and discharges the Board from liability.
